before any new installation goes a head in your property you will find that the unused chimney needs to have a good clean along with a smoke integrity test 

You’ll often find that when a chimney has been out of action for an extended amount of time it will require a clean and inspection to ensure it’s safe to use and a clear passage for dangerous products of combustion to leave the property safely

With our fully  qualified and very experienced engineers on site we will clean, test and certify your chimneys and offer and services to remedy and issues found on site 

It is recommended to get your chimneys maintained regular and safety checked 

this should be done at least once a year, for all working and functional chimneys to ensure the following 

-there is a clear passage for fumes such as carbon monoxide to exit the property 

-ensure there is no nests/ blockages or obstructions inside the flue 

- check the integrity of the flue 

- check the flies terminal is safe and correct and fit for purpose 

-check updraft 

- ensure there is no build up of dangerous creosote inside the chimney reducing the risk of chimney fires
